Citizen Science

We will establish a citizen science portal for 2-way information flow regarding the current status of each of the MTZ sites under investigation. We intend to actively involve citizen scientists in this work to help us assess the local environmental conditions and challenges. Through the Waters and Communities officers in Mayo, Galway and Limerick we are seeking to engage stakeholder groups of citizens who are working together in the local community around issues to do with water quality. We will also seek to work with all stakeholders to provide critical information and tools for informing policy around the sustainable management of MTZs.
